Tupper
Pets are a great blessing in anyone’s life. They are
the only ones who love us unconditionally. Pets always offer us everything they
have without asking for anything in return. The main aim of any pet’s life is
to make their owner happy. Nowadays, even the term ‘owner’ is changing. People
prefer their pets as kids and to themselves as parents. This is how the
relationship between pets is evolving. People treat them no less than humans.
For instance, they celebrate their birthdays, let them sleep in their beds, and
more.
In my opinion, I feel the pets rightly deserve it. Dogs
are the most common pets you can find at anyone’s place—a person’s best friend
and the most faithful animal, a dog. We have a pet dog that I love to bits. We
got her as a baby and have watched her grow into a beautiful dog. We love his
silly antics and cannot imagine our lives without her. We named her Tupper.
We adopted Tupper when she was a baby. A friend told us
that dogs from a closed puppy mill were put up for adoption. We were not sure
we wanted another dog in our lives. We were older now and didn’t think we could
handle raising another one. Little did we know that our lives would change
forever after her entrance.
Tupper came in like a blessing for our lives. She
belongs to the breed of Labrador. Tupper was yellow, partly white. She came in
as a puppy with his cute little paws and eyes. We couldn’t stop gushing over her
beauty.
As Tupper grew up, she learned various tricks. We trained her to follow our instructions as only a dog who can get distracted easily could. And she even learned a few tricks. We loved showing her off to our friends and relatives. We always took Tupper out with us as she loved walking on the road, especially with my wife, who often took her to the dog park and walked down to the river behind our house.
Before having another pet dog, we didn’t know what we
would experience from a new family member. After Tupper came into our lives, she
changed it forever.
Certainly, Tupper made us better human beings. We are
now more compassionate towards animals, if that was even possible.
In other words, we have learned a lot of things from Tupper.
She protects us when we sleep at night. She tries to cheer us up whenever any
of us are sad.
